Working an iTouch is a Simple task.

1.Settings
Settings are your personal changes to the iTouch, altering the personal feel and outlook, and your privacy.
Privacy is important considering the iTouch may hold personal information, contacts, and private videos/photos.
Setting up privacy on your iTouch is simple. Go Settings > General and you will find the optional Auto-Lock and Passcode Lock.
The Auto-Lock will allow you to set your iTouch down for a range of 1-5 minutes and in that time it will lock. It is also useful do to the fact that if your listening to music, and you accidentally touch the sensitive screen, nothing will change.
When using the Auto-Lock, when your iTouch locks, as you go back into the iTouch, you must re-enter you passcode if that has been added.
Passcodes. Passcodes are extremely helpful to protect privacy. A passcode is just a basic 4 number code allowing your entrance and use of the iTouch.
If your iTouch is stolen, the thief will have to spend many hours attempting to crack the code.
Now, back to the personal feel settings.
Brightness is the brightness of the screen, basic and simple.
You should see a Wi-Fi option within the settings. This is a wireless internet connection.
That option allows the user to change the connection they are using.
Enter the 'General' tab in settings. Here is where 95% of the personal feel settings are changes.
You can change wallpaper, the date and time, add auto-lock and passcodes, change keyboard language, and reset settings. (+ More) These settings are all common knowledge, and if you need more information on these, just request it.
Back in settings, you'll find the editables for 'Music, Video, and Photos'. These contain basic things you will probably never need to touch. If these are touched, you may notice a change in your iTouch speed.
2.Internet
There are 2 shortcuts to the internet on the main page (desktop), of the iTouch. These are Safari and YouTube. YouTube is an internet site, yet you may not travel off YouTube from that link. You MUST use Safari to travel to sites other than YouTube.
The internet is based around wireless internet. As you read about your Wi-Fi settings in the previous section, you should know that within the Wi-Fi settings is where you will be changing the connection you use.
When you open Safari, you may or may not receive the option to choose a connection, so you must choose through settings.
Basic internet rules/guidelines apply.
3.Music/Video/Photos
Must has multiple sortings.
Albums, Podcasts, Audiobooks, Genres, Composers, Compilations, Playlists, Artists, and Songs.
You can configure which four are to be your bottom-bar shortcuts by going Music > More > Edit.
When searching through music, you can quickly search by checking alphabetically.
Music has other common knowledge information. Request it if needed.
Videos are basically the just organized alphabetically and you pick one.
Photos are just in 'tab' format. Search and pick.
4.Uploading
To upload, hook your iTouch up to your computer with the cord received inside the package you got at purchase.
Open up iTunes and simply drag and drop the music you'd like into the iPod tab in the left column.
Allow the iTouch to sync and remove the cord and listen.
