Double Standards

Before you attack me, this thread is not to cause drama.

Now usually, when a staff member's msn scams a member, regardless whether it was or wasn't in his control, that staff member was banned until the funds had been paid back. So today, when Tyro's msn scammed Drewskyd I was surprised that Tyro wasn't banned on precaution and forced to pay back those who were scammed before being unbanned. Now, I have nothing againt Tyro, I consider him a good friend and I've known him a considerable amount of time, but I think that since Sythe likes to keep "standards", why is Tyro allowed to casually roam the site WITH full moderator abilities.


Just to give an idea of what I mean.
Decisive - Banned on request because he feared he would be hacked. Nothing was scammed. Unbanned, but moderator permissions not re-instated.

Solid Tank - Hacked, but nothing was scammed. Banned on precaution. Unbanned, but moderator permissions not re-instated.

Chase - Hacked and his msn was used to scam. Banned. Forced to repay funds before being unbanned.

Rawr Im Phat - Banned after reports of his msn being used in a scam. Asked to repay those scammed before being unbanned. Report turns out to be false, and Rawr is unbanned without paying a cent.

In all these cases the staff member was banned on precaution, regardless of being in control of their msn or not. So why does Tyro get special treatment? You're using the excuse "we're investigating the report" which is bullshit, because the report is valid. It is merely an excuse to bide time until a) Drewskyd recovers the accounts and Tyro is let off scot free or b) Tyro has the money (which I know right now he doesn't). Be fair, keep standards. Ban him until he repays or until Drewskyd recovers without loss.

Did you not read the other thread? Tyro was banned as a precaution and as there were no legitimate scam reports, he was unbanned. The one report against him is currently being discussed and, if deemed legitimate, he will repay what was scammed.
