How To Prevent File-Sharing On Your Computer

You know it. I know it. Limewire, uTorrent, as soon as you download, it's uploading from your computer, and that means problems for you. Especially if you're on a XGigabyte/month internet plan. This guide will show you how to effectively put a stop to that.

Welcome To My Eleventh Guide.

First up, if you have any recently downloaded files, here's what you can do.

Open up Limewire and follow the steps in this picture.



Now, for uTorrent, follow these steps, after opening it up.



Sorry, I don't really torrent alot. <3

But that isn't all. Simply stopping those is a nice way to do it, but you can never really trust these P2P applications to do what they say so here's your next precaution.

Head over to Start, and then Control Panel



After you've opened up Control Panel, off to Network And Sharing Centre.



Your screen will look like the picture below. Follow the prompts.
