Guide for choosing a bot interface

This is a guide for choosing a bot interface. This (referred to as a bot from here on) is an application that runs scripts that automate various tasks. It could also include several auto-click type programs.

Some examples of bots are SCAR, rsbot, Ibot Pro, Ibot Lite, JMacro, various auto-clicker packages

Here are the questions that you should ask:

1) Is the bot free? There's no reason to pay for one when free alternatives are out there. That eliminates Ibot Pro.

2) Can the bot be easily minimized (without using something to fool the program)? If not, then you can't do anything else on the computer. That eliminates IBot Lite and almost all of the auto-clicker-type applications.

3) Is the bot still supported? That elminates JMacro (for the time being) and many older bots that are no longer being developed.

That leaves us with SCAR and rsbot. Either one is a good choice.
