If you're making an obby mauler, skip step 1.

1. Train to 40 range. This is a must because it allows you to afk splash magic and wear dragon hide which has a better defense bonus than Iron armor. In general range is just the overall best skill because it allows you to kill opponents from a distance and is relatively cheap. Do this under 2 hours at the duel arena by using knives an another account with 1 defense. Or simply afk Rock crabs. Do whatever works for you.
2. Take a break and splash your magic to 55 using minds then chaos runes. Fire strike>fire bolt. One is cheap, one is pricier. But 55 magic gets you almost all the important teleports (tabs are expensive), and allows you to cast high alch. You can splash for up to 6 hours by downloading an auto clicker and clicking somewhere in game every 20 minutes. I've used Garyshood has been around since and it's free!
3. Train 1-31 crafting, this will benefit you long term and you'll never have to craft again! Make leather items til 7 and then craft rings, bracelets, etc for profit in al kharid. Alternatively, wait til you do some mandatory quests for crafting xp.
4. At this point you're gunna want to choose your account build. You want to base the prayer level on the build of the account. Strength pures are usually 1, 13, or 31. Range pures are usually 26 or 44. Magic pures are 1, 11 or 45 prayer. I DO NOT recommend getting 52 prayer because the anchor is an incredible weapon and the quest requirements will put you at 53 if you're already 52. Only get smite if you must. In general, I hate prayer, and all of my pures are level 1 in it. Just remember, 11 prayer is the lowest you can get if you want ancient magicks, 15 for Ava's accumulator and access to Canifis. Other than that you can achieve a lot without it.
5. What do you want your attack level? This will dictate what weapons you use. 1-16 attack pures use the obsidian maul. (Death plateau gives you 16 attack but the boots strength bonus and increased accuracy greatly help obbys.) also consider training to 55 slayer for the staff that hits like a rune scimitar but only requires 1 attack. 40 attack pures are nice because they are still relatively high hit points and stats and you can and always will be able to pk in f2p so this is a very solid choice. 50 attack pures are sick because the granite maul is an incredibly overpowered weapon in pvp and with 50 attack you can wield an ancient staff and do quite a bit in the game without restriction. If this is your chance, CONSIDER training slayer along with combat to obtain the leaf-bladed-sword which rivals the dragon scimitar. This is obtained at 55 slayer. 60 attack pures are by far my favorite. You will want to train to 60 attack FIRST because it will be easier to train strength after this. I do not recommend completing monkey madness... You will need this quest later on for chinning. 75 attack pures can wield every weapon in the game and cut through defense. They are a lot of fun at first but you risk losing a lot of money if you fuck up.
6. Range training. In general I bot all my accounts from 40-70 range using czar's range guild. I do this before any of the above mentioned information. The reason for this is because I do not want to put any work into an account and find out that it's been banned. If rather get 70 range and then begin crafting a pure once I know the account won't be banned. After 70 range you can literally do every pure quest you need even at very low hp. You can either quest now or bot/train combat.
7. Use tip it runescape. The calculators are VERY helpful. I like to use the combat and max hit calcs. First I check the Max hits on range and what level I need. Then I plug in the range level and calculate how many attack and strength levels I can get without leveling using the combat calculator. This can be complicated but it's a great way to figure out your build and set goals. I hate seeing a savage account that is 10-20 range levels below max. It could be so much better.

9. 1 attack 85 strength, 60 range, 60 magic... 40 attack 75 strength 77 range... 50 attack 69 strength 80 range ... 60 attack 75 strength 90 range.... You get it?
10. Quests. There are hundreds of guides to get the following so I won't emphasize. However for most pures you want to do witch's house,vampire slayer, Waterfall quest, tree gnome village, fight arena, the tourist trap (use agility xp), the grand tree, death plateau, shadow of the storm (10k xp), and underground pass. This ensures your attack is fully quested. Also for accounts with prayer, the restless ghost, priest in peril, animal magnetism (accumulator), temple of ikov (range xp), are great. For magic pures the grind for desert treasure will be a journey!
11. Focus on Mith gloves, ancients, anchor and firecape and maybe a crystal bow after you've got your dream pure made. These are all a pain in the ass to get but trust me the rewards are worth the toil.
12. The important thing to understand is that making a pure is your adventure, your choices and your pleasure. Do it as you will, I just hope that you understand these necessities and keep them in mind. One last tip, high agility speeds up quests SO much. It might be chill to bot all your stats to the 80s and then train agility to 56. Then go for roving elves. After that shit you can achieve any of the other necessary quests with your mental power!
