Studio beats by Dr.Dre headphones

I just watched about a hour of reviews and is now orgasming about these headphones, does anyone have a pair that would like to describe the sound quality? apparently its the best thing people have heard and you hear music that you've never heard before, thoughts before I buy these badboys for $300?

 

Good, and by good i mean the best quality headphones out there, the only downside is batteries and can be rather bassy depending on the song and volume.

I'd get the normal non-studios though.

 

If you want an in-ear pair that still sounds amazing get a pair of diddy beats or sennheiser cx71's. Thats what i got.

 

nah im going big and i really want the studios, i heard bass is an issue but what if you just use lets say the EQ on your iphone?

 

Bass reducer works.. but only to a certain degree.

 

I heard from friends who got them for Christmas that they're amazing. Wouldn't doubt it, they have to be good with a $300 price tag. lol.

 

They're only $300 because their by Dr.Dre.

They're not worth that much, but im not sure where else you could get them (or similar type)

Well you can get genuine authentic ones on ebay for $250 which is probably what i'll get, they do seem incredible and hopefully worth the price tag

No, 150 of the price is the brand. They're good headphones, just overpriced.

 

Dre uses his own brand in studio.

 

If you're determined to get the Dre headphones, go for it. My best friend has some and I tried them out last year. Nice clear quality, crisp sound.

this, i had two pairs of dres before. they are great, but no way worth $300. I have a pair of akg k518 and they sound just as good. They can be found for less than $50. For $300 you should be expecting a lot more

 

You're definitely paying for the brand and not the headphones. I wouldn't say they are worth the money.

Look into REAL studio quality headphones. Brands like AKG. Now those are quality for a good price.

 

I'd recommend beyerdynamic dt990 for that price.

 

They'll be good headphones, but nowhere near the "best", or the best for $300. No one is using $300 headphones in professional studios. If it's a gift, awesome. If your paying for it, see what else is out there. Also if Dre did use Beats he'd use the Pros, things aluminium and even better than the Studios, plus the design is great.
