Green Card

Basically it started 4 years ago, my dad said that he's trying to search for a job in the United States Because he said that if you get a Job there you wouldn't need to have Green Card to move there (Which was probably another lie). My parents told me that i could say to my Friends that it was 100% sure that i was Moving to the United States really soon after a couple months they started asking why i haven't moved yet and i said i didn't know, I asked my Parents about this they said because no job offer has come up yet. 2 years goes by i ask the same thing and they can see that it starts to bother me so they said, Soon a Job offer will come so we will just have to wait then they told me to look up places to live at which was also complete bullshit because they just wanted to keep me busy or something so i wouldn't ask more about it i assume. 1 year after that my dad said that he got a call from a place which got me very excited because i though that was finally it, couple weeks passed and nothing more about that. Now today i was really mad because i really don't want to live where i live anymore and we never seem to get away from this place and by the time he has been "Searching for a job" we could of actually had a Green Card so that would of been ready.

Is it possible to search for College's in the United States from Another Country and move there for myself then or would that require me getting a Green Card aswell? Because i am really tired at living where i am living with these bullshit lies being spread.

 

Pretty sure if you get accepted at a university then you can stay in the United States for the duration of your acceptance (I lived there temporarily for 3 years when my dad had a job there - like your dad was trying to do). The difficult thing is finding a job or a school that wants you, since they need to sponsor you to get you in the country.

Basically the university or place of work would be responsible for getting you a temporary visa. But you'd need to be a top student or very good worker to stay, enough to make it worth it for them to pay for you to come.

 

Dialatic basically covered it. It also helps if your very intelligent from a country with low educational standards. Also if you don't get a full ride, i don't believe you will get a loan for your expense.

I would just get a green card, then start your schooling once you have a job somewhere near the school.

 

Most universities are willing to accept foreign students and provide them with residence assuming you have good marks.

Keep in mind the cost for international student tuition is pretty high.

If your marks are good you should be fine, but beware that tuition costs are ridiculous for foreign students.

If its anything like trying to move from canada to europe legally its really not worth the time or money. If its something you really want to do i guess i would go ask questions at your closest american embassy?

P.S if you are tired of bullshit lies in your home country. Then america is not the best place to be.

what I don't understand is, why do people always want to move to America. When all ive seen from foreigners is how much they hate our country and people. My only advice to u sir is, if u do move here do it the right way. you need a green card and u need to pay taxes.

 

It's easier if you get a job straight after you graduate from a university, I know a few who have gotten green cards that way.
