Battle staving guide made by i staple i/wantedbymany (both are me i use wantedbymany on alot of other forums)

Step1. Buy 823,600gp worth of regular battle staves at lunar island magic shop for 8,236gp each. You should now have 100 regular battlestaves

Step2. make 100 unenchanted orbs (they are around 400 gp each in GE, you could loose profit if u buy them). Make them by making molten glass and use a glass blower with it to make an orb. heres a guide on how to make glass if you dont know how.

Ingredients to Glass

* Bucket of SandBucket of Sand - One bucket makes 1 glass item.
* Glassblowing PipeGlassblowing Pipe - This makes the object.
* Seaweed Seaweed - You need one seaweed per bucket of sand.

Making Glass

Firstly, just put all of your weapons and armor into the bank since you can't bring them to Entrana. Buy a bucket or 2 from the General store to hold your sand. If you don't want to wait for seaweed to wash up on the beach of Entrana, you can fish for some with a Big Net in Catherby. There is also a respawn on the northern side of the river that runs through Shilo Village.

1. Go to Port Sarim and catch the boat to Entrana by talking to the monks.
2. Get off the boat and go into the house to the north, across from the furnace. Inside will be a glassblowing pipe on top of the dresser. Grab it. Also notice the stove.
3. Sal filling up a bucket with sand If you need to, head over to the beach on the far north-west side of the island and pick up some seaweed.
4. Go back to the house where you found the glass-blowing pipe and cook the seaweed over the range to get some soda ashSoda Ash.
5. Fill your bucket of sand up from the sand pit located conveniently near the range and furnace. It's just south of the range and south-west of the furnace.
6. Use the bucket of sand with the furnace to get some molten glassMolten Glass.
7. Now use your glassblowing pipe with the glass to bring up a menu of things to make!

Note: You can also buy up to 80 Seaweed per day from Arhein in Catherby for 2gp each. If you've completed Part 4 of Recipe for Disaster, you can also dive for Kelp in the area you discovered during the quest. This can be cooked on a range just like Seaweed to make Soda Ash.

you should make more orbs than your going to use this trip so you have some for next trip. if you make a set number for exactly how many staves your going to alch then make that many orbs first so you dont have to keep making trips of 100 or 1000 just make them all in one go.

Step3. Locate the obelisk you wish to charge your orbs at go there and charge them. It takes 3 cosmic per orb and 30 of the kind of rune that matches the orb your making per orb so I suggest using a regular elemental staff instead of using runes. heres a guide on where all 4 obelisks are.

Obelisk Locations

* Air - In the Edgeville Dungeon, go into the Wilderness part and head north of the Black Demons until you see the demon, Chronozon.
* Water - In the dungeon near Taverley, go right through, past the Blue Dragons, the Black Demons and Black Dragon. Head northwest and up the ladder.
* Earth - In the Edgeville Dungeon, venture into the Wilderness part and go south past the Black Demons and climb up the ladder.
* Fire - In the Taverley dungeon, just past the Black Dragons.

Step4. Once charged, use each orb with the regular battlestaves you bought earlier from lunar island.

Step5. once done with all 100 staves and you have 100 elemental battlestaves make 100 nature runes(again not recommended to buy because ull loose profit)and alch all 100 staves for a potential profit of 106k if you made both orbs and runes.if you have the runecrafting level for natures you should alredy know what abbysal crafting is, you should always use the abbys to craft your natures. again its suggusted to make more than ull need in one trip and if u have a set number of staves you alredy know how many runes to make.





it will take about 90k staves for 99 mage if u start at lvl 54
it will take about 100k staves for 99 crafting if u start at lvl 56

Remember this is only 100 battlestaves, when u get enough money to make thousands ull be rolling in money.

If you start out at 56 mage and go to 99 you will make about 800 mill.


this is my second guide i have made.i konw theres battlestave guides alredt through the net but most are out dated and tell you to buy from wrong places. you can only buy 8 staves a day at the shop in varrock, you cant even hop and get them in a different world either. i made this to let people to better understand where and how to make them and make profit from them.

i think this might be the fastest if not second or third fastest way to make money and train skills at the same time. not only that but ur traiing 2 skills fastly and making mills doing it.

please rate 1-10 and tell me where to improve on it,ill be happy to add sometihng if i feel its needed.

 

You already have a problem at step one, battlestaves cost 8236 (as of today) at lunar island, and you cannot buy more than 20 (and wait till they respawn or hop).

Sadly this one is as well.

 

You can buy unlimited at Lunar I believe, but at a higher cost.

 

Please jump to lunar island, and check yourself if you wish, and that's what i did, babbayaga sells only 20, for 8236 (as of today).

damn are you serious? thats fducking gay how are people supposed to battlestave now? thats fucking retarted, right when i get a good method of money making jagex has to fuck me in the ass. but u can buy more if u world hop right? and if u make both the orbs and the runes ull still get profit just not as much. ull probly end up getting about 300m-500m instead of the intended 800m. im going to fix up the guide here in alittlewhile. thankyou for telling me about the price and the limit.

 

what about buying staves at mage guild?

 

Hey i staple i, very nice idea to make a guide about this, altho it would be nice to make an aproximation on how much you can make per hour with this and how long to get 99 mage with that method, 800mil is alot but if it takes 12 hours a day for 365 days then it might get very boring

yes i konw it has errors im fixing them atm, when im done ill put up guide version 1.1 . and im working on the time thing it shouldnt be over 3 months beacuse u get atleast 135 magic exp per staff you make. version 1.2 will have the money u get an hour and the time it takes to get 99 mage. ill also add how much exp u get an hour.

 

I really liked this guide and will probably use it in the future when i finish Lunar Diplomacy, and yeah it would be really nice if you put up how much exp you get per hour for each staff.

no mta bot will only get you 4 staves an hour ull make less with staves in mta bot than u would with infinity so just use infinity and use the money from that to get the staves from lunar island. im still making changes to the guide i shhould have the new one up by tomarrow.

This could work but it takes u 3 years for 99 mage

 

how would it take 3 years? it would take like 3-5 months. im still working on version 1.2, it should be out by next week. it would take 1-3 months to craft the nats, 1-2 weeks to make the orbs, 1-2 weeks to charge the orbs, a day or 2 to put them on the staves and like at most a month to alch them.

well does that mean its good or bad? i cant seem to get on rs atm beacuse of internet problems so if you would be so kind as to get xp rates on the crafting of the orbs and putting them onto the staves and time it takes to make like 100 and alch please? like from making the orbs to alch how much time does it take to make 100?

 

version 1.2 will not be out for atleast another month beacuse of irl issues.im taking a break from rs for about a month, mabye more. i will post when 1.2 is released.

 

Hey man I have a question. If you sold the staves to Grand Exchange would it still be about the same cash or what? Or would it just be better to make then alch. because I have a lvl 3 skiller I want to do this on. But great guide man
