seen lots of cases lately of people being sold accounts and recovered after a while under the allegation that the original account owner recovered it and they get away with it.

    why it should be banned?

    1. you can never know if it's the seller who recovered it or the original owner
    2.less scammers?

some people offer a 50% refund well that's bullshit they still make 50% profit if they recovered it

even though people say i am not the original owner it might get recovered it's like selling i am going to sell you my house but another owner might want to have it back -.-

sorry for my bad english :D

so what are your opinions people of sythe ?

    a good example :

    Should definitely be banned.
The people who buy accounts from someone other than the original owner deserve it though, they should know better.

Full refund, or banned until they pay up.

I still don't know why the two in question (Egu & thelatent) are still unbanned...

If you sell an account on sythe, be it your own or you've brought it from someone else, if you sell it you should take full responsibility for the account if there are any problems, ie if the account is recovered you should give the buyer a full refund.

R2P hasn't paid anything back, he's not banned either. Anyways, the seller is responsible. It has always been like that, it will always be like that. If it'd be forbidden, people would just all say they're the Original Owners.

Yeah, but as long as you donate enough you can get away with nearly anything... That is what it seems to have got to lately.

I agree with Bambino, you can't claim that the original owner recovered it and get away with it. I could put any account on the market and then recover it and claim that; those who claim this should be forced to pay a full refund or be hammered until they do.

Agreed, a full refund should be given to lift the ban.

Uhh yes.. I'm pretty sure this rule has been in place for a while now, not sure why egu isn't banned yet but he should be ASAP. Funny how he doesn't even attempt to get his money back, he'll just "accept the ban".
Idk which mod dealt with that report but he shoulda been banned.

I've sold accounts a number of times where I wasn't the original owner. In the event that it gets recovered, I always refund 100% of the purchase price (it's rare but it does happen).

There's no reason not to. Otherwise I could just go through the level 100+ section, buy all the max mains that are like 50m-100m and resell them for 400m. Then be like "tough shit" when the owner (clearly a scammer) takes the account back.

Oh, and for the record. 95-99% of accounts sold by people with fewer than 100 vouches will be recovered within a month of the original sale. But that's a whole different problem

....... Just because you donate does not mean you get away with anything.

OT: I thought this was already a rule but I will support it anyway.

Not saying that you did this, but a lot of "trusted" people can sell an account "that isn't theirs" and recover it back. If they refund 100% of the purchase price, they still get the added benefit of free exp and possibly whatever items were in the person's bank.

The only problem I see is this.
Person A sells an account to Person B for 100M.
Person B acquires much more wealth on the account than 100M, say around 500M. Person A recovers the account, and says it was the original owner, (which it wasn't) and then gains 500M, along with the 100M he got from the purchase. In my opinion, it should be an automatic ban if the buyer can provide proof that the account was recovered. And if the seller is trying to sell a previous owned account, he better know for a fact that the previous owner won't recover it.

You posted a second before I did, lol. ;p

I've always wondered, what if the persons account gets keylogged, and they assume it was the original owner who recovered it?

    It's such a flawed system...

I do not the full idea of the suggestion you are trying to suggest, however the seller of the account must repay the full payment back to the buyer if the account is recovered in any case.
