Granite Transfer Method

Requirements:​

45 Mining
Dealing with Scabaras (not necassary at all!)

Getting there:

Red line: Magic carpet ride to Bedabin Camp (Costs 230gp)
Blue line: Walk to Quarry

How the method works:​

'Buyer' is buying gp
'Giver' is selling gp

Buyer and Giver meet up at the quarry with their inventory's look as the one seen below.
Buyer mines until his inventory is full of Granite
When his inventory is full, the Buyer then trades all his granite for coins to Giver.
Giver then drops all of the granite while Buyer continues to mine again.


The biggest downfall to this method is that as it is in the desert you are constantly exposed to the desert heat effect. This is why you need to bring as many water skins as possible without compromising space for granite to mined.
It is to your best advantage to complete the 'dealing with scarbaras' quest as you can simply wear a water tiara instead of having water skins to protect you from the heat.
If you haven't completed that quest then you should just fill half of your inventory up with water skins. 14 water skins she be enough to keep you going for an hour if you are wearing full desert robes.

Some Statistics:​

In 1 minute you can get 12 granite.

The minimum you can mine in this amount time is 4212gp (500g)

The maximum you can mine in this amount time is 21732 (5kg)

However it is highly unlikely that you will mine 12 of the same size granite,

therefore the mean amount of gp you can mine in one minute (including 2kg) is: 12,720gp

Since you can mine 12,720 in one minute that means you can mine 60 x 12,270 in one hour.

That is 736,200 gp

The previous equation isn't making allowance for the time it takes to trade, which on average is 15 seconds.

So realistically speaking, if in 1 minute you can mine 12 granite, then you can mine 1 granite in 5 seconds. so in one minute you can mine 9 granite and successfully trade them all.

If the average value of 12 granite weights is 12,270 then the average value per granite is 1060gp. This means the average value of 9 granite is 9540, which is 'realistically' how much can be transferred in one minute.

The realistic result of one hour transferring is 574,200gp

Its not, I used to use this guide all the time, for small transfers, but still. Never got banned.

That is true but this is quite nice mining xp too so it's worth consideration.

 

so one person said it has little to no ban while the other says there is a high possibility. someone clarify.

it works great for me
xfered 500k to my friend for his birth day and he got bored..

 

not an easy job for xfer, potato cactus is much better, just pick and drop, no xp.
