    Graffiti, art or not?

Graffiti is always vandalism, but it can be either good, or bad. And example of good would be pictures of something, meant to bring a sense of beauty to a rather bland area. Bad, would be something along the lines of tagging.

    Graffiti, art or not?

I believe everyone understands 'art' differently. My opinion is that everything what is done by man is art. So yeah, I think that graffiti is art.

I think proper graffiti, Things that would actually take time to do.

Things like "Such and such was here 2k8!"... Who actually gives two fucks?

    Using the bathroom? Sicko. :)

    Graffiti, art or not?

First of all, Art is in the eye of the beholder. Dont know who said that.
To the minority people who just spray paint there gangs name(or other things) on a wall is vandalisim. But if it is actually truly about something eg. a snapshot of society, what they think of the world around them.
    That is art pretty much.

    Graffiti, art or not?

It depends what kind of graffiti it is. If it is just shit tagging that isn't art but some graffiti truly is beautiful and I consider it to by a form of art.

    Graffiti, art or not?

Graffiti is art, because if you think of the definition of 'art', it is expressing yourself and Graffiti is very much expressing yourself

    Graffiti, art or not?

If you're graffiting on PUBLIC PROPERTY, then it's a crime. If you do it for the fun and let's say you set up you're own cement wall at home for you're personal use, then it can be deemed an art.

    Graffiti, art or not?

    It's art.

But in my dads perspective, it's vandalism.

    It degrades housing prices, etc.

And most of it looks trashy, but there is some real talent out there.
Like any art, some people hit it, some people love it.

Myself, I tag. (I'd get grounded for life if my dad found out LOL)

Anywas, I'm not that great, I'm not bad either, but. I tag on billboards, etc. Places high up that people have never tagged.
And I try my best to reduce destruction of property while tagging :p
That contradicts myself but oh well.

    Graffiti, art or not?

i think graffiti is art and pretty good art too its always nice to see well done graffiti and murals

but stuff that people just scribble on walls in pen or texta is just annoying and makes it seem like vandalism

    Graffiti, art or not?

It is art, but it is vandalising other property which makes it illegal.. doing it on your own property is fine property

    Graffiti, art or not?

It's an art, but it's also a crime (tagging, at least, is.) and should be only used when appropriate.
