Graff [LuckyCharm Accounts] is selling temp banned accounts to customers without notifying them

Which violation you are reporting the user for: [Section Rules] Old School RuneScape Accounts - If your account has any offence history you must notify your buyer before trading.
Why you think they're violating Sythe rules: It may be a minor violation, or not worthy of one at all, but I figured it was worth reporting. I was sold an account only to find out after the trade that the account had a temporary ban for "Bot Busting Moderate" in early 2025.

Fact:
Minutes after purchasing the account and adding it to my JAG, I find that the account has a bot busting moderate. Graff, a head staff role at Lucky Charm's Accounts / Services discord, told me that this is a "false ban" and that if I ran into any issues, I could contact them for 'recovery details and everything' and that their workers 'make everything by hand'. I declined, and noted that we both know it's not cool to sell accounts with black marks without telling customers. They agreed to take control of my JAG account and refund me, which has gone through today I can see.

I was going to leave it at that and move on, just about the only loss I incurred was a separate level 3 on that JAG with 1 month's membership. However, today I see that their discord is still advertising the HCIM for sale, almost 24 hours after the fact, without any notes about the black mark. Someone else is only going to run into this if they're not reprimanded / change their advertising. Plus, to be honest, it pissed me off wasting 2 hrs of my time on this, so it's not just me up on my high horse trying to save others from the hassle.

Hey there,

Since we sell accounts unregistered (without an email set) we can't tell if an account is banned for macroing if our worker doesn't decide to tell us. Since we cannot access the ban history page at that point.

We have an account working operation with around 100-200 account workers and there is the occasional false ban that can happen. Since macroing software nowadays is so advanced, Jagex is looking more at player behavior to determine if somebody is macroing. Our workers play many hours doing repetitive tasks training skills on a VPN, which is in line with behavior of somebody that is macroing (playing many hours, repetitive tasks, often proxy/VPN usage).

We have apologized and have already refunded your payment, and have taken back the account.

To clarify: My manager didn't remove the picture from Discord after the sale. That was still the same picture as the original. So the Discord image was never reposted the same way.

We never relisted the account without mentioning it. The picture was still on our Discord server after the sale (the original one posted when we didn’t knew about the past ban).

 

The livechat took place on Wednesday 9th November at 11:40pm or so. My screenshots were shortly after this, and I'm using the account confirmation auto-email from their website as a reference point of the beginning of the conversation.

 

The discord photo and post about the original account has now been removed from their accounts discord, however, it was still up for a few days after I posted this report. There was no effort made in the aftermath to edit to add the black mark information until their attention was brought to this report.

When we sell an account we usually update it the day itself but my manager didn’t remove the picture immediately. It was not for sale again in any way on our website and never the intention to resell it without mentioning the ban as you can clearly see from our whatsapp history?

You act like it’s a crime and we are advertising an account if we dont immediately change a picture on our Discord. That account was however not listed on our website anymore because you bought it. So there is no way somebody could have been misleaded by buying it

 

I'm not sure why you feel attacked? You violated a rule, inadvertently or not, and I reported you for it. You didn't update the photo or the text caption on discord for the account for days after finding out. That was my complaint, to both Zora and now this report. You act as though you took necessary steps to avoid misleading customers, but the only action you took is inaction. The website automatically delisted the account as it'd been purchased. Any action on your part should* have been in updating the details on Discord, which you failed to do.

There's no point arguing. I've stated the facts on this report, and haven't mislead in any way. Let the moderators decide.
