Let's save the best things of the internet before its gone!

Hey guys, I think we need to band together this weekend and make sure we save the greatest thins from the internet, and compile it together to download. I believe we need TV shows, games, movies, musics, and even lulz and baws, user-generated content that can be saved that can last us awhile.

It's like how there is a place where they are storing seeds to a ton of different plants. I'm trying to replicate that to the things we love. Also, tutorials on how to get these things to work would be great.

I'm working on a personal collection, but if other people are in for this idea, that would be awesome.
Lets save our favorites before they are gone!

 

Lol ive ben posting videos to everyone on my facebook. its more productive than everyone elses statuses about signing the "list" that google had going. most congressmen oppose soap now though so I dont think it'll hit for a while. everyone should download all the shit they want while its out there though lol.

 

Man, my stereos broken, so if mediafire gets dropped I won't even be able to listen to CD's (I know I could use headphones, but those get annoying after a while )

 

I am fairly certain this wouldn't be allowed because you are promoting piracy, not under SOPA but under Sythe rules.

 

That is true, although I am not saying just piracy, I also do mean funny pictures and whatnot. Funny pictures (memes, rage comics, etc) and things that make us saw bawww that can last us for years and years, content that was made by the community that we should share. I'm going to go edit the original post.

 

Why I said everyone should download everything they want now. not " everyone should illigally download everything they want now." If sopa did go through witch without extreme revisions I doubt it will. The prices of everything you can legally download would go up. no competition from illigal sites = higher prices for legal downloads. so legaly download everything you want now

 

Pretty sure other people are doing this, I got all the games I wanted last year. So even if SOPA does happen, I have everything on here to last me a while.

 

I buy all my games on Steam.
I buy DVD's of films I want to watch, as it's so cheap to do so.
As for music, i've got loads, all backed up on various hard-drives.
As for gaining new music, i've got a network of friends in which we share our music regularly by lending each other our hard-drives.
