GPU Stuck at 98%

I currently have an Asus G74sx Laptop, with a Nvidia GTX 560m graphics card, recently the fan has be constantly high speeds, and when Ive tried playing games, Ive previously run on high or better, I am having to turn them down, in some cases even all the way down to minimum.

The Nvidia System Monitor program is showing my GPU is at 98%, I am not running anything but Chrome at the moment, even when I run nothing, its at 98%.

I have no idea what to do, tried something things when I searched for it on google, but have found no one talking about the exact thing Im experiencing.

 

You sure your GPU hasn't just gone bad. Is your laptop still in warranty.

 

Also, have you updated your drivers recently? Are you running on a beta/old driver? That may help us.

 

have a looksie with HWinfo64, let me know what the temp is on your GPU, and how much memory is being utilized when your laptop is idle(not running anything), also let me know what the clocks on your GPU are when at idle(core and memory)

 

Its not still in warranty, so Im hoping thats not the case.

All drivers are up to date with the recommended driver.

Weirdly, today the GPU is running at 30 degrees and only 18% usage.

Yesterday, it was at 60 degrees.

 

It's a bitcoin miner, I have the same problem, just dunno how to fix it, keeps coming back!
