Alright, well this is very simple yet stupid.
Rasmus was the Middle Man for a 40m trade. Rasmus was Prizford's first choice and Prizford is ranked in his discord hence they are clearly friends.

In this conversation Prizford agree's that delivery will be done as soon as the money comes up into the block chain.



I told him I was in a hurry and i had a costumer waiting for one hour or more.

Here he is saying he will wait for the confimration PM from Rasmus which he later manipulates and says he meant the confirmation PM from block chain :laughing:




now meanwhile rasmus has gone afk probably pming priz ford, he comes back after it has come up and i spammed him

Regardless, this is very unprofesional and clearly abuse of powers because this is his friend.

Rasmus bent the rules in his friends favour and held the GP without delivering because its his friend when he clearly agreed.

That being said i'd like a complete refund of my BTC and not the gold deliver since my costumer already left me.

If Rasmus is so easily influenced by his friend Prizford, what if Prizford influences him later on to simply not deliver? Or delete the chanel on the discord so there is no evidence unless the user was recording his entire screen?

This is what concerns me.

Rasmus clearly abused his powers in this situation and froze up to stall for time.

I was called in by Rasmus to help resolve the issue. The issue I found was that neither party was clear what exactly they meant. It’s an industry standard that you wait for 1 confirmation when using a MM; therefore, it could be reasoned that he meant for the 1 confirmation “once it comes up.” Or he could mean once it shows as pending, it’s ambiguous. From there, prizford’s agreement of that was ambiguous as he said he would wait for a confirmation pm, later clarifying he meant a confirmation in the transaction.

I came in and basically said that once there is a confirmation, that’s the earlier point both of them agree it’s okay to send and NCAAN could collect the gold there. After that, if he refuses (as he seems to be) the transaction would need to be confirmed and then prizford could send it back and we would reverse the process.

In the future, I HIGHLY recommend you are both clear as to what your expecting, in terms of confirmations. This way it can’t be misconstrued.

Awaiting a mods opinion

 

1. The rank he has in the Discord is one that anyone can have.

2. There was not any bias towards any parties, I was just trying to figure out what was exactly agreed on and didn't delay anything for anyone's favour. Nor was I conversing with prizford while I went unresponsive.

3. Both parties were not clear on their terms now that I look back at it.

4. At the time of the trade I understood for the gold to be delivered after a confirmation as advised by me to prizford/michael. I am sorry if I misunderstood the terms agreed on.

I am still in the posession of the gp and it will not be returned to prizford/michael before he refunds the BTC.

 

There was some confusion on the matter from both of us but I'm happy to refund BTC (worth 40m). I wasn't able to do so before cause it was 0/6 confirmed.

There was no need for a report since we were just waiting for the confirmation to occur. Please provide your BTC address and I will send you that amount. Once confirmed then Rasmus can give me 40m.

 

Waiting for 1 confirmation is standard for BTC transactions due to double spending, there is no foul play here.

It seems @prizford is fine with refunding you if you want to, you are free to arrange this, there is no scam going on here so this can be closed.
