Banned for something 5 years ago?

Hi just logged in today to find that I was banned for offsite scamming.

I am not disputing the fact that I was trying to scam in 2007.
But that was 5 years ago when I was 12. I was young and it was 5 years ago on a different website. I dont see a offense 5 years ago when I was 12 (17 now) as a reason for me to be banned, when I haven't scammed anymore since then and I have a couple vouches on here and haven't tried to scam.
