Anyone figured out how to safely buy GP yet?

I hear mixed things. Picking up the GP in wild. Tip jar. people still seem to get caught.

Any methods you guys use and feel good about?

but it's not like this is anything new? It's always been an issue for runescape. Unless this technology they speak of has progressively gotten so advanced at this type of detection. I don't see this game surviving if they persist with issues of such like this. It reminds me of the bot ban back in 07 and again the complete script re-write for rs3.. long story short, it hasn't worked and if anything lost majority of paying customers... who cares if they aren't playing, but as long as there paying.

 

I mean gold sites are still doing well, and to me, that is a telling sign that you can still buy/sell gold. Don't get me wrong, they have started to crack down on gold buyers/sellers because there have been more bans, but still not to the point where you can't do it at all.

trading is the safest way to transfer gold

what's more sus:
a random trade over 1b gold on main accounts
a random tip jar transaction of 1b gold to a player that has never used his house before for this purpose
a random player dropping 1b gold in the wild & having it picked up by another player

all this "scare tactics" and "randomisation" are having no effect if you ask me

 

I've done trades for 800m fine over 1b I'm not sure though think you'd be banned straight away
Usually it's just 7 days though first offence for buyers

 

I have not been banned yet and I have been buying gold, and trading lots as well as I have a bad gambling problem some days (although im working on this lol) .. but yeah, i've traded quite a bit generally not much more than 500m per trade.

My account has 20 days played on it, and I'm always skilling or doing something and when I trade I just make it quick and go about my business. I also try to keep active in clan chat and let people borrow some gold or items sometimes just so there are some legit trades as well.

Just use trusted Gold Selling websites or people with alot of vouches.

 

I don't think it has been mentioned yet but I would also like to make note that I think it is a good idea to still purchase the odd bond/membership from jagex every once in a while. I have been buying/trading/gambling lots of gold and I have had no issues, but I also make sure to give back to jagex every once in a while to keep them happy as well.

Just do small amounts on different accounts. Minimalize the risk.

If you buy random bulk amount from flagged rwt seller, you most likely will get banned.
