Got Botting Questions? Look No Further!

I've seen alot of threads lately asking "Whats The Safest Method To Bot?" or "Am I Botting Correctly?", "Risk Of Getting Banned On Main Account?".

So i'm here to help answer some of those questions. I'll basically break it down.


Q: What are acceptable downloads for bots?
A: there is no 100% safe place to download but if you are downloading a public bot be sure it is off a website. Remember that powerbot or rsbots dont use mediafire to upload there bot clients too.

Q: This link a friend sent me on MSN to a botting site says it has safe legit bots to download, c00lstorybr0!
A: Please keep in mind there is no 100% virus/malware download area on the internet for bots. Stay local, and use Sythe! but always remember NEVER take anyone elses word on a good reputable site to use, always investigate yourself!

Q: Users who have low numbered posts, but seem to know what they're talking about are legit!
A: WRONG! Look before you download, people do not just join Sythe and contribute in there first few posts. You have a brain, so use it please

Q: Are Bots Safe to Use ?
A: Remember that not bot for runescape it truly safe. Bots that are newer, paid for or have few users, and that do not interact with other users in runescape tend to be the safest. If you get banned its your fault, nobody else broke any rules for you and it may not be worth it.

Q: Phr33 Memb3rship Any0ne?
A: We all wish it was so but there is no program or service that can give this to you, if you dont have a way to pay you either need to bot a bit or sell some mills. Sites and programs will be short lived and a waste of time, if you have no way to pay you can always buy a card at wal-mart or a prepaid visa.

Q:What is a Bot/Macro?
A: Macroing is the act of using third-party software to perform automated tasks. Cited from Rune Wikia).

Q: Will i get banned for Autoing ?
A: Yes, everyone is eventually caught. You can delay this process alot if you don't suicide your bot 24/7. Taking breaks and playing legitly for awhile is highly recommended when autoing.

Q: Suggested Bots to use for Autoing ?
A: Answer is listed Below!

Q: Powerbot still safe to use?
A: If you'd choose to be hacked, sure! Otherwise, it's not recommended you use that site!

Q: Are auto clickers safe ?
A: In a sane way, yes. Auto clickers don't require you to store your username/password in the program. They're easy use, and require zero to no effort in setting up, and are idiot proof ... sometimes!


The types of Files you may encounter when downloading bots!

.exe files; this is NOT a bot and it is very wise not to run this file type.

.Jar files; this is typically the file type of a bot, but can contain malicious code. If you download a cracked script iDungeon or whatever you first have to put it in your rsbot precompiled folder because it will not run by itself.

.java files; this is typically a script, you need to save the code for the bot to run, this file type is completely safe.

.txt files; this is the file type of a text or notepad document all it containes is words and is completely safe.

.rar, .zip, .7z, .tar, .iso files; these file types are just containers (or folders) for other files, they can be opened with a program such as winrar and are safe, their contents are what you have to look at.


- Overall there is no anti-ban free bot. All bots eventually get detected, and patched by Jagex. However there are some excellent bots that are highly sophisticated. I prefer to call these Smart Bots. : )

This is just a brief FAQ of botting.

on my main?

if theres none whats the best paid bots for a virtually newborn toon?

 

The best premium bot would be from RSBots.

Purchase AutoMiner Pro > Download the Bot client that helps run the bot > Get atleast 5 accounts with members > Complete Rune Mysteries Quest > Setup the Bot and enjoy irl for a few!

If you've got 5 members accounts auto mining Pure Ess that's an easy 16M daily!

RsBuddy has a free one that's pretty damn good.

 

Idung from rsbot is only 10 bucks but seriously worth getting

Powerbot is completely safe to use just put a damn pin on your account and don't store it into the client. Also auto clicking is very easy to detect but Jagex will most likely go easy on the punishment. Oh right and if you really care for your account use RiD to bot it's expensive but worth it in a way.

 

Use the SVN version of RSBot and you're completely safe since you can track source code changes on github.

can you run more then one account on one auth at the same time because how do goldfarmers do they buy there multiple auths?

Theres a possibility, yes. Not tried it out for myself though. Some gold farmers run there bots on a VPS (Virtual Private Server)., Learn more about that Here!.

*The thread that i've recommended has alot of disccussion on bots, especially some of the newer versions that are coming out.

*We don't know if all bots are detected instantly when you first use them on your account, but they eventually are.

*There is no bot in existance that is "anti-ban proof". It's all on the user of the bot who decides the outcome of a ban on the consistancy of how often they use it. "Suiciding" your bot (Running it on several hours on end to the point of no lifing it) will get you noticed faster than a person who has a scheduled time frame of when they bot.. running the bot for 4 hours, playing legit for 2, enjoying irl for a few more, than returning to run the bot...etc

*I've personally used bots before to help me train some skills to get past some levels i did not want to go through. I've used them as an Aide, not as a main source of training ALL my levels.

Just like to say in response to one of your statements; I have botted immensely on certain accounts for over 2 years (always breaking never more than 2 hours without a break and 10 hours in a day) and NEVER been banned on ANY of my accounts.

My question is: if my account does get caught botting, will it be banned permanently or for a select period of time?

 

It depends on the status of your account.
P2P: 14 day issue ban. F2P: Perm banned.

When botters are caught they usually have there bank reset some, and there stats reset.

i botted 60-99 hunter suicde about 40hours a day at a time

and done minign 60-80 and got a minor today but i was doing bot fishing at the time

14day ban i look acc up no reset aswell will this only be once the ban is lifted or am i not being roll back?
