I'm on a KDE4 operating system which has Kopete as a default IM client.

Ask anyone on Kubuntu/KFedora, Kopete does that.

Why in the FUCK would I add someone who I'm supposed to be his imposter (english fail)

No, god no. Someone who has IRC logs, he came in under the alias Emerald-(something) and I showed him the pictures, so he said something like 'Fine, I'll just go report back to sigex and tell him stuff'
