Best way to go about buying 3 b gold

I have a high level old account that I want to buy around 3 b on.

Do yall think doing it in ten, 300m trades would be safer over like a month? or 3 big trades of 1b each?

Any advice on this? I want to do a straight trade, I feel like that looks less sketchy than a tip jar

 

I would just do a big trade of 3b for a few junk items.

 

I thought about going even lower to like 200m spread out over time, with how many trades there must be over 200m each day but then I lead the chance of the account that sells to me being traced for big trades and them seeing mine

 

Think it's most important to buy from someone that is unlikely to be flagged as rwter, for example don't buy from gold sites but buy from a single person trader on Sythe or even better would be buying from a friend. That said rwt bans for buying are very rare, you're most likely gonna be fine regardless. I wouldn't do multiple trades tho, only makes it more sketchy imo.

 

I agree on the "makes it more sketchy" bit, but bans for buyers are not rare. Not now. They used to be very rare, virtually nonexistent. Anyone who has received a warning should stop RWTing on that account (or any account connected via network info such as IP address) immediately. Seriously, Jagex is taking a "less nonsense" approach these days. Certainly they're still allowing folks to get away with a lot... But if you receive the warning, the next step is either temp bans/wealth removal OR flat out permanent bans.

Looks like it's over for those of us who have grown up with RS and just don't have time to grind for GP anymore. I enjoyed logging a couple of hours per day for Slayer/Farming runs. Guess it's over now. Buying bonds is like 2.5X as expensive, not even worth it, all things considered.

i would go for the whole 3b in 1 trade and use items instead of cash so it doesnt look as obvious.

 

Just do all 3b at once, smaller chucks of 200m is playing Russian roulette considering it would be 15 trades. 15 opportunities to be banned versus 1 time.
