Got 5 defence on my pure. Where to?

I accidentally got 5 def on my pure by misclicking on defensive while staking (terrible, I know). What's sad is I was just above to kit him out and start pking finally.

The way I see it, my options are:
Stay 5 defence and just deal with the extra combat level, fighting 1 def pures.
Get 20-30 defence and become an initiate or proselyte pure.
Get 40-45 defence and become a rune/zerker pure.

What do you guys think? Will the extra combat level make a big difference when fighting 1 defence pures or not? Is it ruined and I should just get defence?

60 att
85 str
5 def
74 mag
80 rang
31 pray

 

I think its best to make it an initate with 2o def, quest yuor way up to 20 not above that and it depends on your prayer lvl as well

 

Forgot to mention I currently have 31 prayer. Not sure if I should get it higher so I've just left it there.

I would maybe try for an initiate pure - or if not interested in that you could probably make a zerker out of it.

 

I'd go initiate pure. Great prayer bonuses which will help benefit you.

Otherwise, it really wouldn't be a big deal if you stayed level 5 defence for just 1 extra combat level.

 

1 combat level doesn't matter at all if you're a good pker with good stats, plus you can wear full steel if you're meleeing which in my experience makes a significant difference in the hits you receive. Good luck!

5 defence is fine but now you might want to consider transitioning to a rune pure. It's up to you though.

 

20 defence is fine, i was 9 for almost 2 years. But i only used my acc for pure clanning.

On topic: Leave it 5 defense or go initiate pure. Always wanted a 20 def pure.
