Eminem sometimes turns rap into a joke. Only when he is serious is he anywhere near good.

I've debated this with you several times, no one is going to win. I still proclaim that Mockingbird, Beautiful, Lose Yourself, Sing For The Moment, The Way I Am, Like Toy Soldiers & pretty much all of The Eminem Show are top rap songs. Snoop Dogg has never had anything on Eminem, lyrically. They come from different backgrounds, so their sound is different. But if rap was rated as a skill, Eminem would win, period.

I guess it all depends on what you are looking for in a rap song. Lyrics, beat, etc. All the artists listed above have made some kind of impact on the rap scene.

I know some of you will disagree, but I think Lupe Fiasco is the best. His lyrics have real and true meaning. A lot of people don't like more positive and smarter lyrics, but hey that's what I like.
