    Here's the story as to what happened. I initially bought a different account from AccountWarehouse and when they delivered the account it was recovered by the OO so I opted for a different account of the same value (which is the account in question). Delivery went fine, everything worked as should. I went and bought 2B which I have proof of and played the game as I would. I then went to resell the account (which I am definitely allowed to do, but did not do) and turns out the account was already recovered by the OO.

    To combat the claims that I had sold the account and I'm looking for it to be recovered, I left the account on the email that AccountWarehouse provided as changing this voids the warranty. In the email, they get forwarded all emails to [email protected] so any password resets, email changes would've gone to this email. So now that's ruled out.

    Now they refuse to help me with anything other than providing the recovery questions which did not work. Posted a screenshot below. According to their TOS they need to give me store credit of 100% since the issue was within 60 days of purchasing the account. But because of their poor business practices, I want a 100% refund. I am 100% entitled to this, a) because they don't sell Runescape accounts anymore so I can't even get a replacement and b) they're not holding up their end of the TOS so neither will I. I refuse to have any further interaction with them in future.

    Accountwarehouse has now updated their TOS AFTER this has happened. I've got the old TOS I agreed to here, and this is what I was emailed:

    Also to add further on this, there was never any mention in the other emails that the TOS I agreed to had this clause in there. Very very convenient that all of a sudden it's there.

    @Accountwarehouse hasn't been online since December 2021, but I do hope they can help us out here.

    At the looks of it, @Execution did not agree to that specific line in your ToS and since the issue is within 60 days of purchase, you owe them a 100% store credit refund.

    Alright, the ToS was indeed changed although we don't know exactly when.
    Regardless, Sythe rules state:

    @Accountwarehouse given that this account was sold only two weeks ago, you are liable to retrieve this account for them. If you are unable to do so, you'll have to issue a refund.

    @Execution after further discussion with other staff, we've came to the conclusion that the situation is different than I originally thought.

    Account Warehouse hasn't been online since Dec 2021 and their threads haven't been bumped since then either. This means that the one month recovery warranty doesn't apply here as it was purchased after this date. This rule only applies to account sections.

    Unfortunately you also broke their Terms of Service yourself: [​IMG]
    They state their warranty is void after an attempt to sell the account, which you did.
    Because of the above, they are not liable here.

    They have offered that a Sythe staff member could contact the OO to try resolve the situation. I will happily do so for you. Feel free to add me on Discord to further discuss this.
