100% Disk Usage [HELP NEEDED]

I've been having this problem for the past week or so and I've been unable to fix it even with trying various methods found on google. It's so frustrating having my computer freeze everytime I try to do anything on it. Any help would be appreciated.

 

hey there. I had this problem loads. Ok, so for me it was i was maxing out the disk at the boot up and start. For example if i loaded a lot of things up it would max. so i used to combat this by opening a game, and leaving it be for a few minutes or a minute or so, and it would go back down to 0%. other thing to note is when this happened it would drop the fps rates for a bit, really badly. load up your things and let it sit afk to catch up on tasks. I tried partitions as well but to no avail, so i wouldn't do that.

is it a wd blue?

 

look in task manager and tell me if you see "SYstm and COmpressed memory" using a lot of Disk I/O % @blackiechan
