Google (and all sub domains) blocked

Google, Gmail, Google Voice, Blogspot, and anything running under the Google domain is blocked (youtube is not)

I have tried accessing it through a proxy to see if they are denying my IP. The proxy fails to access it.

    Pings fail instantly

    (Note: I cannot access google.com or http://www.google.com)

I can't access it or my phone either, so it must be a router problem. I've reset the router and my computer to no avail.

I've also deleted my hosts file (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc)

I need it badly, as my voicemail, email, school documents, and calendar are all on google.

    Help?

Hi. You shouldn't of deleted your hostfiles. Just try connecting from another Pc, restore your hosts file if you can. then edit it in wordpad, if anything to do with google is in there delete those lines. Hope I helped, thanks.

It could be a virus, do you have anti virus software?

Everytime you restart your computer the host file is restored, as it's mandatory to internet browsing.

I've scanned with AVG and Spybot

Is it giving you a connection denied error?

Could you post a picture of what your browser shows you when you try to access google?
