Good Websites For Listening/Discovering Music?

Anyone know of anything similar to House-Mixes.com but for rock music?

 

I usually go to soundcloud.com to find all my music . They have striving artists in all types of music.

 

You can find really good stuff just by going through the related videos on youtube. Also check out the labels that your favorite artists are on. It's very likely you'll find similar artists there

 

Grooveshark is a good website to stream music while on the go, they have a html5 app for mobile devices as well.

 

i like to go to sputnik music and see what's good there, it's cool for finding highly reverred bands of the last 20 yearz

 

https://play.spotify.com/ also has desktop app and iPhone app. Just listen to the radio, at least I do at work, some pretty good stuff on there .

 

Rdio has some good stuff. They have a best of 90s rock/alternative that has 716 songs.

 

I'd be careful with Grooveshark I was told it's crawling with viruses.

I find YouTube pretty good. If you listen to a song, it comes up after watching it with a playlist full of songs and I sometimes find ones I've never heard of which are pretty good.
