Good Trades/Bad Trades/Scammers Banned in sig

Can we have a rule against users posting good trades, bad trades, scammers banned etc in their sigs?

It's a waste of space, it's annoying to see everywhere.

Why? ONE vouch thread with proof, quotes, links to threads etc is all that is needed to show your good/bad trades ALONG with proof of them.

Simply having counts in your sig means nothing, anyone can fabricate numbers and put them there. What actually is useful is ONE simple link to your official vouch thread in the vouches section that shows proof and counts of everything with detailed information.

And frankly no one really cares how many scammers a person has banned either, we all know sythe is full of scammers and tons get banned daily by all kinds of people.

Thats like me saying your sig is a waste of space. I don't care that you have vouches, so why should you be allowed to put a link to them in your sig? I don't care that you buy membership so why should you be allowed to put that in your sig?

I don't see any harm with what they are doing. Just because you see it as a "waste of space", doesn't mean it shouldn't be allowed. If they have fake "good trade" and try to use them as trust they can be banned for self vouching, but otherwise it isn't even a big deal.

I also would like top point out that Sythe is not "full of scammers and tons get banned daily". Unfortunately this is a black market website, and there is scammers, but the majority of the users here are legit. We are a strong community, and not just entirely made up of scammers.

Having quotes in your signature is allowed, provided it doesn't go over the size limit. I don't see a problem with it, only a few people have them in their signatures. People do have the right to put what they want in their signatures, provided it doesn't break the rules and it is within the limits.

I admit it's easier to just link your vouch thread in your signature, but more people have a vouch link/image in their signatures than people who enter vouches themselves.

It's fine as it is, no support.

I think you've misunderstood what OP is protesting.

However you are correct about the part where users are freely able to choose the contents in their signature, provided it does not break any forum rules.

OT: I don't even take this 'suggestion' seriously.

This is more of a feedback in my view.

You stated your opinion as to why users should not have what they want in their signature.

Who cares if they display 'Good Trades/Bad Trades/Scammers Banned in sig'.

    Of course, no support.

As long as it doesn't break any Sythe rules, it's allowed in the users signature. Simple as that, no support.

There is nothing wrong with having that, so why make it against the rules?

I agree with Wulf, as long as it isn't agains the rules people should be able to put whatever they wan't in their sig.
If it ignores you, look the other way.

Sorry, but this is a silly idea. Users are free to have anything in their signature that isn't offensive or malicious.
