Minimum Specs required?

Title explains it all, I get hard, constant lag spikes when I stream.

This was my result for speedtest. Can somebody tell me if it's my net/PC and what I can do to stop the spikes. I'm also using xsplit.

 

Your upload speeds are not fast enough to properly stream. We would also need to know the specs of yoru PC to know if that has a factor as well.

 

The upload is what you need to fix. Without having a better upload, no pc hardware will be sufficient to stream.

 

How do I fix it? Upgrade my net?

 

Yes, you would have to upgrade your net.

Some randy's quote off another discussion forum. But that seems to be a general consensus.

Again - this is assuming your computer can handle the load as well (need specs to tell you that). And to test your internet speeds use testmy.net instead of the flash based ones. The flash based speed tests give you a "boosted" readout - meaning they're not showing your actual speeds.

 

Yeah, you would have to upgrade your internet. The upload speed is basically what makes up the streaming part as you are uploading your content constantly.
