lol, why'd you take some domains over? You do know Microsoft can just legally take them off you right? Wasted money.

The console looks okay I guess.. reminds me of a 1990s VCR player somehow. Its too early to say whether it will be good or not, they haven't even said anything about playing used / old games yet.

 

They're domain names such as 'XboxOneShop.Com', nothing they can take.

 

Did they mention anything about it running on windows 8?

 

It won't be running Windows 8 I'd assume.

 

It reminds me of my PS3, with the looks and what not.
Not a big gamer on the consoles, so I don't know too much. (Except PS2 of course!)

In the official video i saw earlier, the background image, what appears to be windows 8 was controlling the Xbox. Looking for confirmation.

 

I believe they claimed it would be running 3 OSs. A modified version of Windows 8 being one of them.

 

According to an article I read, Microsoft stock fell instantaneously in correspondence with the unveiling of the Xbox One.

 

It's more like an home entertainment system than a gaming console to be completely honest. Still, I'm probably going to buy it. I've always been a xbox guy, although if PS4 is better I'll get that, ofcourse.
It's a shame alot of the RAM etc is wasted on the television stuff.

2. It looks shit
3. The 360 does the exact fucking same
4. Unless the graphics are that good I get sucked into the TV I won't be buying one.

 

The main attraction i interperated from the release is the blu-ray player..

 

That to me isn't enough for me to want to spend £300+ on a console.

 

All in one? You might as well buy a media centre PC, it looks like one anyway, except the xbox is made of cheap plastic.

The price will probably be quite high at launch, maybe around £300 or more.

Oh i completely agree, there aren't enough attractions to persuade me to make such a expensive purchase. I was just stating the obvious main attraction i felt they were trying to sell people on.

 

I think that happens for a lot of product unveils and things for a lot of companies. Stock brokers are just following some trends.

I found it funny how Sony stock rose 9% right after.
