Question for selling a graphics card

I'm considering selling my gtx 1070 since I only play runescape anyways, can't see the reason to let it dust till the value is gone. I have a question though,

if selling the card, can you just plug it out and its good to go? does anything need to be done as a seller, I'm not that hardware oriented, so I was wondering if the graphics card stores any data that needs to be wiped for best performance for the new buyer?

might be a stupid question but I appreciate answers lol.

Question for selling a graphics card

no wiping needed, all clocks come from the software you use.

probably bubble wrap it after putting it in an anti-static bag or just put it back into the original box then ship it from there

Question for selling a graphics card

No it doesn't store anything at all, just take it out, put in the original packaging (assuming you have it). Seal it up and you're good.

Might want to give it a good dust though.

Question for selling a graphics card

Exactly what everyone else has said, dust it off nicely and put it in a anti-static bag and ship it.

Shippers are rough so make sure you bubble wrap and everything else.

GPU is a passive devices so it just takes in data and puts out data. Just like a stick of RAM the memory is not saved.
