In the market for a new gaming headset

My steelseries siberia v2's decided to stop working randomly, got a year out of them so I'm not going to complain. So I'm looking for your help and opinions on which headset I should purchase. I'm thinking about astro A40's as I already have a astro mixamp but not sure if they are worth the $200 and I'm not a big fan of the very sensitive mic. Possibly another pair of siberia v2's or if you think there's a better headset on the market for under $200 let me know what it is and why you think it's a superior headset. Main use for the headset will be gaming, can't be wireless and no turtle beaches.

Get a Siberia V2, i got one and as i see you already did, they have amazing quality, don't get an overpriced piece of crap like Astro A40.

Considering getting that one the only down side is that it's usb so I won't be able to hook it out to my astro mix amp and use it for xbox and pc. Going to see if anyone makes some kind of usb to audio/mic jack adapter.

    Buy a clip on one?
G35 are fucking trash, AD700s will sound better then any gaming headset. But if you don't want to take my advice(seeing as I've used a variety of headsets and none compared to my mates AD700s.) go ahead and buy trash.

Those headphones are for music not gaming and I'm not going to have 12 wires running from my headset and duck tape a mic onto it. Will probably end up getting another pair of siberia v2's or from fucking trash g35's.

I've used a40s for years since release. Tried others and ate inferior in sound, usability for other systems and comfort.

I have a pair of A40s. Nothing extremely special other than the mixamp. I suggest buying the mixamp alone and purchasing a cheaper but comfortable headset. Incredible sound especially through a optical cable.
