Accepted and denied appeals.

An idea just came to me!

Alright, so a lot of people are getting the idea that some people's appeals get accepted because they used "key words", but no one can really say for sure if this helps.
My idea is that people could use this thread to post their ban appeals, then tell if they worked or not, and for what rules they broke, and details of how they got banned. Being able to see what worked, and what diden't work might help us all figure out better things to use as appeals.

I've always thought their appeal system was automated.

 

It is. Thats why he is doing this. Then people can see the "key words" that the automated machine gets and accepts.

 

I emailed them saying smd. I got a response.

Automated one.

If we all start using these 'key words' Jagex will just look for people using those words, as they become more popular the appeal is more unlikly to be accepted.

 

For the record, telling them your friend died and that you obsessively played for 30 hours to get your mind off things doesn't work.

If you don't make an appeal, doesn't it expire anyway, regardless of what offence was made?

Permanent bans for macroing usually don't. Even so some can take years to expire.

 

Isn't it a set 1/2 year thing?
I was assuming macroing was the same as all the other appeals?

 

I wish they actually had customer support. It'd be way easier to get unbanned if an actual person looked at it. When WoW Glider was around getting unbanned was almost laughably easy if you contacted them via phone.

Yeah, I've not known anyone to get their appeal successful on an appeal regarding macroing.

 

I got banned for marocing on like 20 of my accounts and I sent in an appeal for all of them and only one for accepted, one of my noob accounts.

Since I didn't care about it to much I just said something like "sorry it won't happen again please unban me" and it got accepted. I can get a picture of what I exactly said if needed.
