    Not once did i suggest that the Golden Scythe had any monetary value, but rather sentimental. I wouldn't pay billions either, let alone millions.

    I do in fact enjoy strutting around the GE showing off my bank, in fact thats all i ever do these days. My RS career has been reduced to logging in for 5 minutes, accumulating enough compliments about my outfit to satisfy me, and then logging off. Shame, i know.


    This was already established long ago.

    All it really says is 'Wow, you went to RuneFest', since only people at RuneFest got one of the Scythe's.

    I'd only want it on an account to sell the account later - and with only 25 of them in the game, AND the fact that you were at RuneFest to get it, Jagex knows exactly who got the Scythe making selling it very unsafe.

    There is nothing wrong with wanting to show off your RS achievements and the wealth you have accumulated, but I guess I've only ever had bad experiences with people like that ingame and so I tend to kind of judge those sorts of people and immediately make assumptions about them. If that is the enjoyment that you personally get out of playing RS, then who am I to criticize that. And with the state of the game these days, I can't really blame you.

    People pay 10m for accs with bunny ears or w/e, theres thousands of ears, only 25 golden sythes, though the aspect of trading could be a bit of a hassle.

    It's not worth it in my opinion just due to the fact that the account that you get with it would only have either minimal stats or something you don't want... Unless you get lucky and happen to purchase a dream account with the sycthe on it, but thats fairly low...
