PayPal vs. Western Union vs. Moneybookers

While I have learned a lot about PayPal already, I have not heard as much about WU and MB. Could we discuss some of the Pros and Cons of working with the other two websites for sending money?

I would really like to hear about which site you prefer and why. Also, under what circumstances could using a particular site be more favorable? If you don't have experience with certain sites please make that known because saying PayPal is the best because it is the only one you have ever used won't help me out much. :)

    Hopefully someone can answer this:
Does using WU or MB avoid charge backs all together?

    Thanks!

    Moneybookers

    - Safe Payment method
    - Low fees
    - Can access it, check your balance etc with your cell phone
    - People can't do credit card funded payments (You need to upload the funds first) But you can do instant uploading funds using a credit or debit card

    Cons:

    - USA members cannot use it to send money to other Moneybookers users

That's interesting, do you mean other Moneybooker users period? What is the point of having it in the U.S. then?

Also are you able to withdraw your funds to your bank account?

A member from the USA cannot send Moneybookers funds to another Moneybookers users, it's used for Ebay.

    Western Union

    Pros:
    Safe
Can send money online with bank account or credit card
    Payment is made instantly
    Receiver will get real cash

    Cons:
    Sender needs to be 18
Fee is a bit high ($14 in USA)
Receiver has to go to an agent to pick up payment

It's the safest option for sellers. There is a WU agent accross street so WU is always my preferred payment method.

I know most clients and employers pay via PayPal and it is by far the easiest way to get paid. But for many countries, its really hard to get cash into your own hands. Well i have stumbled across a couple of ways to get the money to you and its completely safe and legal too.

Follow this link to see how it worked for me, so hey give it a try: Click here

With Western Union the money is safe at all times and be funded to your account directly, with Paypal their has always been issues on people trying to to get their money back. As for MoneyBookers i have no idea.

Paypal: Always a possibility to LOSE your received payments. No matter how they have sent it (even with a note/gift, still possible to lose)

Moneybookers: Not everyone can use. Not everyone can receive/send payments. But, ALL payments are NOT REFUNDABLE. Even if you call.

Western Union: Large fee. Instant transfer. Must have photo id + valid information to receive payments. You can send payments online.

    My 3 cents.

    The fee is for WU.
I believe it's like 34.99$ to send any amount.
It might have changed in the past year :p
But I do know there is still a larger fee than paypals.
