deleting inbox messages

Hey guys,
this is just an idea that hit across the head thought maybe it could help sythe out a little
my inbox is always full never clear it lol

and with all our members am sure some make accounts become crazy active inbox lots of people then they leave what ever and their inbox stays full

i dont know if deleting the messages like helps sythe , like i dont have words i can explain this lol, like not take space and what not if members clear there inbox

so i was thinking if it does help sythe when people clear inbox and stuff why not add a little thing where after 30 days of a inbox/mail received it would be deleted.
that's if like storing messages in ur inbox thats up room on sythe or whatever.

Your basically saying that every 30 days messages auto delete?

 

No support. If i had a inbox full of messages from previous trades and then my internet got cut off and i couldn't get on to download them, i'd be screwed if someone tried to post a report on me.

tl;dr, important shit in inbox.

 

I'd support if it was optional. But no support. I keep important message in my inbox which I refer back to every now and then. It is also where evidence is kept. What is to stop someone posting a report on you after 30 days and your evidence is gone?

oh can you do it with an option to auto delete? that would be pretty cool and useful

and yes you right it does delete some evidence Humpo, but i am going to use my self as an explame my messages from a year ago trades done and dealt with kinda thing i dont need

this idea just hit me instantly kinda thing

 

I am going to have to go with no support i keep important trade information in my inbox and can't afford to have it gone.

 

If they get clogged up just delete them all.. I like having the option of how long to keep them and which to keep.

i remember when i got kompany banned i believe i had one of the mm's help me too cuz he had the inbox from him or something i totally see where this is going now lol

 

While I didn't support the idea, it takes balls to post your thoughts and ideas on the forums. Don't think any less of yourself because others are not a fan of it. You just see things from a different angle than others.

Honestly, if it was an option for people to enable and disable deletion after 30 days it wouldn't be a problem. Most of us like the option of deleting when we need to and only if we need to. It was a good idea, just needs some minor modifications to it!

 

Anyone actively using the market will run into this at some point, no support.
