Is there a limit to how many vpn's you can run?

Is there a limit? Does your computers specs dictate what they are? I plan o have 16-32 fb of ram. Also if anyone knows how to make your own server? W
How is it better opposed to just renting one?

 

You can have as many VPS as you want...?

They are just other computers somewhere else in the world, you can buy/rent as many as you want.

Making your own computer (in the long run) is MUCH cheaper as you build it once, and it's all yours forever.

CPU matters more than RAM for some bots.

No VPNs have nothing at all to do with your computer.
Buying a VPN just gives you remote access to the companies computers.

You simple use your login information on your/any computer to access their computers.

You can turn your computer off and the VPNs continue to function.

Yeah I was just wondering cus someone posted on someone asking about his VPN tabs not working on powerbot and someone said he needed to allocate more ram to it which didn't make sense to me so I asked here. What's the cheapest/best VPN you know of? My friend told me powerbot had a VPN for VIPs you could rent for like 7$ a month that could hold 5 bots or so.

 

No clue, there are a ton of threads in this section about VPNs though I'm sure if you scroll though a few pages you will easily find many threads talking about them/prices/different providers etc.

I'm not a big fan of goldfarming or VPNs so I'm not sure.

$7/Month for a VPN powerful enough for 5 bots sounds EXTREMELY cheap I think he must have misheard/misread something.

No you cant really build a computer than can run 50-100 without lag.
Nor can you buy a VPN/VPS that can do it.

You would need to buy multiple VPN/VPS that are VERY powerful to run THAT MANY and it would cost a ridiculous amount of money too.

I think you should first start off with starting a small botfarm, with as many accounts as your computer can handle right now, or buy a VPN/VPS that can handle about 5 bots and just start there.

After you figure out the gp/hr you make, the price of the VPS/VPN, the time and work it takes to set up the scripts, transfer the gp, make the sales etc you can see if going BIG SCALE is for you or not and weather or not you think it's worth it.

Don't get excited to run 50-100 just yet before seeing what it's like first!

 

What's "rediculous" for the vps cost? Let's say 25 dollars a month for 5 bots I could easily pay the cost of that in days. How many vps Would I need for 5 bots?

 

Not sure, all companies have different pricing for different things.

It really depends on what bot and what script you are using, different ones take up differ amount of resources.

Run the the bot/script you are interested in finding out about, see how much CPU/RAM it takes up, and multiply.
It's different for each script/bot.

 

How do I find out how much CPU/ram it takes up?

 

Open up Task Manager (Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete).
Go to the processes tab, find your box program, and see how much CPU and Memory it takes up.

Thanks dude, honestly though I want to make alot of money off this, membership costs and vps monthly costs aren't much compared to the profit.

 

Too many methods are raped hard by too many people abusing all of the most popular farming methods/scripts and over the time profit becomes very little by everyone undercutting each other. Both the prices of the RS goods and the GP falls greatly over time.

Also next month the Optimus/BotNuke update is supposed to come out, so I'd wait until after that to see if any Java bots even survive before investing too much/getting too excited about anything just yet.

But feel free to continue and hopefully make some decent cash, like I've said before, I'm just really against farming !

 

VPN = uses your specs because you are still botting on your system
VPS = uses the specs of the virtual server (not your system)

When you go as high as 16gb-32gb you are now talking about dedicated servers. To rent a dedicated server online it is quite costly, most likely around $300 for a reliable one. If you know people who can host you can get a much better price.

Look at the specs of the VPS/DS (not your own system) to determine how many bots you will be able to run. When I used to bot, on my laptop I would be able to run 3 bots max, but when I ran my DS from that same laptop I could control 10 with ease.

 

I'm probably gonna by my own servers eventually instead of renting. Are have bots color or injection? To be honest though I'm not too worried, after the last bot nuke bots were online within days lol. Answer above question if you know the answer though.

 

Oh wow the bot master posted on my thread sweet? Is there a way to by a DS, and how many bots could be ran on a 16gb DS, on average? Please answer I know you know all about botting.

Also I think it actually took AT LEAST 2 MONTHS for the injection/reflection bots to come back after the nuke, and even then it took a while for any good/decent scripts to be rebuilt.

Simba (color bot) was unaffected though .
