SCAR is NOT a virus..

I decided to make this thread to avoid threads by people using AV's that pick up SCAR as a virus (same with SCARBrowser), and I've seen enough of this virus propaganda(sp) at SRL already too.

Even if your antivirus may alert that SCAR is a virus, THAT IS NOT TRUE, SCAR is just somehow similar to that particular(sp) virus, so some antiviruses may mistake SCAR as a trojan.

So please, don't make useless threads about this.

Well that explains why my avg sais kinda "Found trojan horse generic scar.exe" or somethin like that

 

yea just supporting thred. SCAR is not a virus it is a universal script player (plays scripts). The worse thing that can happen is that a script is programed to email your password and even that has been done only ONCE in the history of for ever lol.

 

Thanks alot, now i can download SCAR, i thought it was a keylogger or something, so i was abit worried.

 

yeah, alot of ppl scan it (me) and then freak out cause it says its a keylogger

i always thought scar contained a trogan or something

Ok, people see that there is a whole forum about this program called SCAR (Shite Compared to Auto-Rune), they see links to sites that develop around scar

They see all these posts about how ppl need help with scripting and such & such....To see all of this and think that SCAR is actually a virus is a new one on me OMFG. It amazes me at how something can be so big and thought to be harmful. You dnload it from the official site, knowing that it is the same program that about a thousand other ppl have and you think its a virus?!
All i can say is WOW...

I revisited some of the sites and found that mopar is under kiddie script attacks or whatever. That is a bunch of bullshit and whoever is holding mopar hostage should crawl in a hole and die.

I got a hack/PCK warning from 3 diff anti-viruses, read this thread and went
"Whew"

 

Idk why but many autoers are known as a virus.
First RSbot, now Scar, what will be the next autoer be called, RSadwaretrojan? lol
