All owners of JTags (and others I guess) look here!

I just want an opinion on if you guys think jtags will get patched form online when the new update comes out. I know this is in the wrong section... but screw it, this is the section with the most JTaggers.

 

Yea it will be i doubt anyone is going to make a rebooter with online capabilities for the new dash. you can still do system link tho

yea get it, jtags werent meant to go online in the first place. you can play games off your HDD offline. you can do alot more offline than you can do online anyway

No they won't ever get patched.

 

they can't patch jtags lmao, they can only ban them. it isnt in the online part of xbox live its in the harddrive, its not something they can just patch

 

They can blow an E Fuse (i think thats what its called)

 

You my friend, are wrong.

Jtags are xbox's that were exploited before the firmware was updated, as the updated firmware patches the jtag exploit.

Everytime a new update comes out, the only way they can go back on xbox live is if they are updated, or, if somebody makes a rebooter, which makes the xbox think it is updated, when really, it isnt. That way, it can bypass the update and go on xbox live.

On topic, that is an iffy question. Sure, it will be possible for somebody to do so, but at the moment, it isn't really worthwhile, with low sales in 10th lobbies, Halo 3 modded games, etc. But I'm sure that as long as Jester is using his Halo 3 aimbot, he will most likely make a new rebooter.

As I said, this is iffy.

OT:
IMO, with the new dash update and the little you seem to know (no offense) I would purchase a flashed xbox if I were you. Then you can play back ups, or burnt games you download off the internet, and you don't have to worry about any of the Jtag. If you wanted to attempt it, flashing a dvd drive isnt that hard either, and would be a lot cheaper for you.

Also, I would stay away from the big "I'm gonna mod mw2 10th and then black ops when it drops" mind set. No one pays for mw2 10th hardly anymore, and Treyarch seems very focused on keeping their games the most legit and fun for everyone (except modders...) I'm not saying that it wont be moddable, I'm just saying it's going to take time for (if) anyone to figure it out so that accounts dont just get immedatly reset/banned.

 

bro you don't know how jtags work do you? the jtag xbox's are system linked, they never actually connect to xbox live so they don't get updates. i hope ive answered your question.

 

i think ill be getting a jtag still because i want to download games onto a hard drive and play them, not disks. and i want to mod mw2 for my friends and people who need it. i was never planning to bring this jtag online so this update doesn't apply to me
