    Just downloaded Gimp. What is a good way to start learning how to make signatures and whatnot? Are there any good tutorials on youtube?

    I watched that one like a year ago and started trying to do stuff with it.

    Also you should download Blender for making text. It's free and pretty good for 3d text, whereas gimp is more for 2d or effects.

    For sure look up tutorials. There's tons of good tutorials on making text/effects and other cool features. It's not great for text but I find it was a lot simpler to insert plugins into gimp in comparison to photoshop.
