GIMP-compadable orbs?

I only have GIMP because photoshop costs money and my family won't buy me anything like that SOOOO I was wondering if there was a way that will make orbs just as cool for GIMP instead of photoshop.

Also, I was wondering if someone had photoshop, would they be able to send like a copy of the program over like email or through some download?

gimp is just as good as photoshop if you know how to use it
i myself use GIMP and you can make orbs very easily just like the ones you would me with photoshop
