[Guide]Easy ways to figure out your Steam ID

hey ima teach you how to find your steam id easily

There are multiple methods

Method (1)


1. Go on steam

2. Join a valve game

3. Go to Options

4. Go to Keyboard

5. Go to Advanced


6. Enable developers Console (~)

7. Hit Apply and OK

8. Hit ~ and type status while ingame


9. Find your name and STEAM_ID 0:X:XXXXXXXX is your steam id; the digits followed by the last colon are considered the "Digits" Whether it is 8 or 2


Method (2)
1. Go to Start


2. Go to Run...

3. Type in Regedit and hit OK

4. Go to KH_Current_Users

5. Go to Software

6. Go to Valve


7. Go to Steam


8. In the "Users" folder there will be subfolders with numbers; if there are more then 1 then delete the folder and restart steam and go back to where you previously were
When you see the subfolder name "########" divide it by 2; the digits in front go after the last colon; if it ends with a .5 it is 0:1:XXXXXXX if it is even its 0:0:XXXXXXX

CommunityID to SteamID:
1)You have the CommunityID : 76561197960512641

2)Subtract the CommunityID by (76561197960265728) you will get 246913.

3)Divide that # by 2 you will get 123456.5

4)If you get a .5 at the end of your number its 0:1, if you don't its 0:0

SteamID to CommunityID:
1)To find the SteamID go to a game console and type "status" we'll use the same example STEAM_0:1:123456

2)Take off the STEAM_0:, since its the same for every SteamID, you are just left with 1:123456

3)multiply the 123456, or the 2nd set of number by two (123456 * 2 = 246912)

4)now add the 0:0 or 0:1, in this case its 1 of the SteamID to the result (246912 + 1 = 246913)

5)now add 76561197960265728 (246913 + 76561197960265728 = 76561197960512641)

 

Sometimes your text ends up right next to your pictures instead of under them and it makes it a little hard to read, otherwise very good guide. I hope to see more of yours.
