When I try to post a .gif as my avatar, it always comes up as a still image, says invalid image, or remote file invalid. Any ideas what's wrong?

Most likely the program dosent support it what are you trying to save?

Try reuploading -- this has happened to me before.

Well, I'm trying to save it from here
and upload it to put it as my avatar.

If the avatar's filesize is too big, or the dimensions exceed the maximum, it will return an error.
