How secure is sythe?

Just wondering how secure it is to buynrsgp or sell runescape accounts and i think people that scam should get a permanent ban.

 

It is secure if you take the correct precautions.

Every user that is reported for scamming with sufficient proof is permanently banned.

 

People who scam do get a perm ban. Buying GP is safe if you use a MM/Trusted user, buying accounts is never safe, accounts can be recovered even if you have the email, recovery questions, and JAG set.

 

To trade safely on sythe you should always ensure to trade with players who have built up a good amount of vouches. If a deal seems to good to be true, it is.
Account trading is never 100% safe no matter what medium you use, though.

 

Dont buy runescpe accounts from newcommers and people with little vouches,and for gold use a MM/Buy from a trusted user and it should go well.
Always take precautions,Dont add imposters,always request a pm and goodluck

 

Trade people with vouches if they scam and you have enough proof they will get banned regardless. If they want to come back they will be forced to refund you and submit a high pardon. As for you selling accounts make sure you use a trusted middleman in order to practice safe trading.

Also, read the stickies... So many dumb ass people get scammed simply because they didn't read a sticky which warned them about something.

 

Kinda rude about it if you ask me.. I was scammed as a newcomer because the person FAKED his vouches and no one explained to me this could happen.

As above, make sure you check if their vouches are legit and if they are ALWAYS get a PM.

You're making assumptions that you're in that category.
If you got scammed because you didn't read the stickies then you're an idiot. However, the way you're speaking, you read the stickies. Which means you didn't get scammed from not reading the stickies...

 

Shoop raises a valid point, if you dot use simple common sense, you will be scammed. It takes a simpleton to be scammed on sythe, period.

 

There will be always scammers and people not making this secure but as long as you use a middle man and be cautious with PayPal, you should be okay.

 

While we'd all like to imagine this is true, it isn't even close. ANYONE can make an account and join the market at any time, and vaders can often come back and do some damage.

I'd recommend staying away from certain parts of the market (account sales specifically) unless you are buying from a VERY trusted user.

Even if a person buys an account after reading the stickies and getting all the information, they still get scammed because they don't really help the account be secured/legit trade/safe trade. So in my opinion your argument of them getting scammed for not reading the stickies only applies in certain areas.

The solution to purchasing accounts on sythe is to not purchase accounts on sythe. Even very trustworthy people have recovered their accounts at some stage, you just can't trust people. It would be better to make the account yourself and pay the same amount to get it trained/quested

not sure how you came to the assumption that ik don't have common sense because i miss spelt it.

Also my aim wasn't to find a solution to buying accounts, i was simply stating an argumentative post, because he stated that reading stickies will prevent yourself from getting scammed. (which is a valid point in certain sections*)
