    Anyone took accutane while lifting?

I've been taking it for about 3 months now, helps a lot. Side effects such as dry skin & lips are minor to me, and I've no probs still lifting.

    Anyone took accutane while lifting?

My acne is terrible, but I've been using proactiv for a few months and my face is clearing up. Last week though I started to break out again and now I'm wondering if accutane is my last resort. I'm scared of these side affects I heard people have had kidney failure. Is not being able to lift your worst side effect at this moment? Also did you go to the doctors to get set up? Is accutane something you'd recommend to other people or do you wish you never started using it?

    Sorry for all these questions.

    Anyone took accutane while lifting?

One guy I know took this, said he was depressed and stuff while taking it, don't know now, but he never accomplishes nothing or is never really motivated. Hasn't worked his whole life. 21

I mean it's worth it in my opinion because i didn't get many side effects and most of those side effects will go away when you're done, dry skin/lips etc that's pretty common, I think that kidney failure is very very rare but i didn't experience much side effects, i just feel weak and can't lift properly because it mess up with your liver but i believe after you're done with the cicle you go back to normal so i would say yes because it gives great results and clear your skin like no other product. It's up to you though, i had alot of acne on my back, not even on my face, i went for it but it wasn't really needed at all in my case, but my back is completly clear now. :)

I took it back when I was in highschool and it worked wonders, although I do remember the side effects being a pain in the ass (specifically the dry skin, that was god awful).. Although I don't really see what's stopping you from lifting? . I remember playing football + lifting while on it and not having all that much trouble.

I think you feeling weak is just something you're going to have to fight through mentally. Be strong, you're in no danger of injuring yourself if you practice safe lifting.

tldr, be strong / fight through it.

I'm about to go on accutane too.

I'd say I've been depressed before, but that was to do more with a family member passing away then about spots.

A lot of things have side effects, however since this drug is legal, I'm willing to take those risks.

I've tried most things, e.g eating clean and changing my diet (hard to do...), using proactive, I've been on Lymecycline for the past 8 months and no change.

Washing my face daily, whenever I use products it gets a lot worse, so I stick to pure water now and a moisturiser.

I think I naturally have oily skin cause my face gets very oily throughout the day... which sucks a lot.

Anyway, I'm a kind of positive guy, so I don't think depression will be an issue with Accutane.

I'm lifting atm and will probably start Accutane soon as my doctor's already recommended it to me, but I just wanted to see if Limecycline would do the trick (It hasn't.)

I'm going to see my doctor this thursday, so I'll post some results in a week or two and also post about any effects I'm thinking it'll have. Could be useful to some people.

Anyway dude, hope your acne clears up, it's a real bitch to fight, but stay strong and just remember: Acne is only temporary, you've got the whole of your life, just think about when you don't have acne and how wonderful you'll feel! :)

Awesome buddy, i would still go for it if you asked me 6 months a go, i didn't have severe acne and only had it on my back but looked kinda ugly so that's why i went for it, i don't have anything now and you'll see so much difference when you start it.
Depression i think is very rare.
