Getting new laptop soon need ideas / help

Alright I want it to be fast on the Internet, pulling up programs

I don't need to much hardrive space

I don't want to to be gigantic

Want good sound quality

I want it to be quality

My budget is let's say no more than $1200

Need suggestions and reccendatiins preferably from experience
My luck with computers is fickle, I bought a brand new computer lasted a year once , got a rebuilt replacement lasted 3 -.-

 

Inb4 all the haters, but if you want standard computer usage get a mac. I've never looked back, for a desktop PC's are the way forwards but mac laptops are a ton better than PC's. I'd personally go for a MacBook or a MacBook Pro, macbook airs are a complete waste of cash IMO if you want to run disks etc. f you want something that isn't a mac, don't buy a custom build gamer, just buy a cheap economy build or something like a dell inspiron.
