What pisses me off..

You know what's really starting to piss me off, when people post they accept PP/MB/PA/WU ect. and they are like "Oh just use your Paypal and sign up for Player Auctions". Like honestly, you put it up on your thread that you accept Paypal..

 

People accepts Paypal from trusted users. They do take Paypal, but if it's from a new member here, they prefer PlayerAuction as they cannot be chargedback. The downside is the new user would be paying a bit more buying from Playerauction because of their fees.

People uses stolen Paypal and/or they chargeback. It's highly unlikely to happen if you're trading with someone that won't put his reputation on the line if he were to chargeback. While you, still new and haven't spent much time on Sythe, have nothing really to lose if you chargeback and get banned. I'm not saying you would, and I'm not saying you wouldn't.

 

I'm just as likely to do it then someone who has 20 vouches. All they could be waiting for is a time they seem more trusted. Get a good steal or two in and bam, they leave with profit.
Every person on this forum worries too much, and stereotypes anyone who doesn't have a vouch as a scammer. How am I too get a vouch when every gold trade I've tried to get, they denied me. It's quite annoying.

You get Denied, because people wanna stay safe.. They don't wanna get scammed, even if you aren't one, Safety's first.. Just do Skill Training/Questing to get your vouches up.

 

Buy from a trusted gold seller, open up a PA accounts or use a different method. I think Nick sells gold without the use of PA, where you can use direct Paypal, on his website.

But the thing is you could be an evader (Previously banned), or you could someone looking to make a quick buck. You have less to lose than someone with 20 vouches if you scammed.

Someone with 20 vouches spent countless hours on Sythe, and they wouldn't scam, tarnishing their reputation, for $10 if their trades were valued around $10 each. A new user would scam for even $5 (Not saying all would). Even someone with 20 vouches would most likely be asked to use PA if their vouches valued up to $10-20 each if they were purchasing a rather large amount.

 

Blame the scum in our world, not the sellers.
