Getting kicked out of local bar :(

So, I got kicked out of the local bar and told that me and my girl are not welcome there anymore because one time last week she walked out on paying for a beer. Well it turns out she paid for the first 7 or so but then didn't pay for the last one, and nobody had told her that she hadn't payed for it.

Fast forward to tonight I walk in after a long day of work for a cold beer and get told I am not welcome there anymore even after paying for the last beer she didn't pay for. I told the manager that it was probably just a mistake and that kicking me out makes no sense whatsoever but he wouldn't listen he just had it in is head that I couldn't be there anymore. Anyways this is just more of a rant because it seems so fucking petty to kick someone out because after buying and paying for 7 (they confirmed this) she unintentionally skipped out on the last one and it was paid for. Secondly why can't I go back in, I was on vacation at the time and had NOTHING to do with it so why ban me too? I don't cause ruckus, or make anyone feel uncomfortable, I am usually pretty quiet and just like to sit and enjoy a beer and watch whatever sport is on the TV.

i think you should be allowed to go in but not your girl. but i guess the owner decides whether or not who is allowed in their bar.

 

Man dude that sucks, I don't get why they didn't let you in even after you paid for the one she didn't pay for. That doesn't even make any sense.

 

Find a new bar if the manager is an arsehole.

 

Find something different about you and pull the racism card

 

Find some reason to complain and pull out the hate crime card.

Then go back to the old bar, walk in, advertise the other bar and walk out.

 

That's total bullshit, it's a bar... people get drunk and don't have the best judgement. Not to mention you payed back the cost of the drink your girl missed. Also if someone buys seven beers I'd say that's a pretty damn good customer and one I personally would want to keep if I were the bar tender.

 

Call him and logically present your case.

If he disagrees then fuck him and call his superior. If you explained this ( one sided ) story to him, he would probably agree with you. That dipshit manager is bad for business.

 

Well, go just pay for this and he should understand then. if he doesn't then its time to find a new bar

That's pretty ridiculous. The bar owner sounds like a dickhead. I'm curious to know how big your local town is.

 

Perhaps he's just trying to make a statement, give it a few weeks and approach him directly again?

Try going back there after awhile and try to explain the situation, he might reconsider. If not, there are tons of other bars, just try to find another one that suits your needs.

 

Around 117,000, about a small mid sized town, there are quite a number of other places to go it just sucks cause this one was like a 5 min walk from my house.

 

Their loss, they're losing a valuable paying customer. There are probably better bars around. From the looks of it, the manager is a conceited and unintelligent douchebag.

 

That's pretty bad management. If you're a valuable customer he should've said "Mate, you forgot to fix the last beer up the other night, but it's all good anyway"

 

Should call the owner maybe in a week let things simmer, I'm sure he just too it out on you for some personal problems he had, I mean it's 1 beer which u ended up still paying for..
