    Carb Cycle diet

Does anyone do this? It's basically when you eat virtually no carbs on days you don't work out (besides breakfast, apparently), and on days where you do work out you eat carbs only before and after the workout (and breakfast).

Starting tomorrow - ate very little carbs today (oatmeal for breakfast). Chicken and natural peanut butter with milk and cheese the rest of the day. Apparently it's a very great way to build muscle and lose fat simultaneously.

are you trying to lose fat? If so, I highly recommend trying intermittent fasting if you have the body composition that suits it, it absolutely works wonders.

I personally eat as little carbs as possible post-workout since carbs is an energy souce and eating it after workouts is not necessary.

I usually have some carbs + protein pre-workout, very low carb + high protein post-workout.
