Rise of RS3 Gold Price

I haven't purchase gold in...a month? But I noticed that RS3 gold has jumped up from roughly .25 to .32. This is a somewhat significant jump in my opinion and I'm curious for the reason? Was it potentially due to GameBlast or invention?

 

NXT client is undoubtly the cause for the jump.

I believe Rs3 has seen a significant spike in players that thought they were becoming outdated graphics wise.

I personally also think rs3 gold is getting harder to buy aswell.

Also you've got spring and summer months coming up which are also profitable for sites(spring break,easter, schools out,etc).


Theres always a 10-20% jump during such times.


The combination of the holidays with NXT may be causing the jump ur seeing.

 

^ it's a combination of a few different things. First and foremost revolves around Asian new year. With the majority of asians celebrating the new year we saw a lack of stock. Supply and demand dictates prices more then anything else. I also believe jagex has amp'd up bot busting and released the new skill. All these things have attributed to the rise in gold.

 

I'd say Invention and the Well of Goodwill were part of the reasoning for price change.

 

Good answer, I didn't really think of NXT, but I can see how it would draw in a bunch of ex-players.

 

I thought it was because of invention and the need for gold for all those supplies.
