    Getting a Gucci Belt

Hey, I'm getting a gucci belt real soon but I can't decide which one to get.
I currently have these 2 options in mind:

    1. [IMG]

    2.[IMG]

First one is 345 and second one is 295, I feel that the first one can be combined more, you can use it with a suit but also with jeans, and second one is a little bit less formal, like you can only use it with jeans/pants, what do you guys think?

PS. Don't be afraid to recomend another gucci belt

that's a cool one but I like them more with the shiney silver plate instead of black matte finish.

In that case, I'd go with the first one. Simply because you can wear it with pretty much everything, whereas with the 2nd, only for jeans and such and even then, to me, it doesn't look nice.

Why you would want to spend so much money on a belt is beyond me. £15 maximum for a belt, that will last long.

I hope for your sake the belt is reinforced with carbon nanotubes and comes with a lifetime warranty.

I'd definitely go for second one if it was me, i like the extra colors, makes the belt just that bit more expensive looking, but hey both are nice!

edit: just re read and noticed the second is cheaper?! definitely think second looks more pricey.

I have to agree with this, if you're going to go around and say that you paid that much for a belt it for me screams 'I have something to prove to people I don't even know!'

Either way, I would say one. Not a fan of either though.

Money isn't really an issue, I just want people opinion in which one looks better.
Let's make it easier for everybody: " Congratulations, you are getting a Gucci belt for free! Choose one!"

So what's your personal decision and why?

You can pick up a whole new decent looking suite (belt included) for the price of these belts. All honesty I don't like either of them, but if I had to choose it would be the first one.

People in this forum spend the same or more amount of money just to get a virtual "partyhat", i'd rather have a piece of clothing of the same price that I can show off than showing off a pixelated crown. Everybody spends their money how they want to spend it.

I would choose the second one, looks better to me. I wish I could afford a real Gucci belt, but maybe someday. ^_^

If you're going to be the guy who rocks a designer brand on his belt buckle...at least rock the Hermes.

Here's the opinion you're looking for.

    The 1st one, why?
    - All black is a staple/essential, its vintage, doesn't go out of date, can be combined with anything is a basic in the wardrobe in addition with a leather brown belt, combine it with chinos for casual look and dress/suit pants and dress shoes for suave look.

i dont think the sythe forums is the best place to be taking fashion advice. Anything that tries too hard with branding is tacky. Take it from someone who never wears polo or lacoste, only loro piana, tod's, moncler, etc. Even with moncler, their cheaper jackets around 900 USD have the mark, but the higher quality moncler gamme blue around 1500-2000 USD jackets don't. Even with the burberry I have, I try to avoid that classic burberry pattern. Just wreaks of typical middle-class citizen trying too hard.

As far as your belts go, if you don't feel embarrassed wearing those types of belts then by all means tuck your shirt in and show off that gucci, but if you want to go the classy route check out rag & bone. I get that you would feel good about yourself wearing that gucci belt, and honestly fashion is about functionality and comfort so go for it. But there are companies (like Loro Piana) that combine both functionality and comfort while also being made from quality material (made in italy). However with your price range you wouldn't be able to afford loro piana so I say go for something like rag&bone
